PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER IN VANCOUVER


There are many different approaches to photographing the Portrait. My main portrait criterion is to capture an expression or gesture, which reflects the character of the subject I am making the portrait of. But the portrait is also influenced by style, fashion trends, colour and mood, all of which are constantly changing with the times. These changes have to be considered, as they will influence the final image. A session is never rushed, it usually lasts anywhere between 2 – 4 hours. Before any shooting begins the client enjoys the makeover, which is a crucial part of the portrait. Whether the session is a traditional portrait or a fashion fantasy image, the session is fun, relaxing and it is never rushed. There is no rapid firing of the camera during a portrait shoot.
