Welcome to Elite Pro Photo. The studio is centrally located in Burnaby, BC, close to Metrotown, 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Professional photographer Phil O’Donoghue captures creative images with an intimate personal flare. Although Phil specializes in fashion, glamour, head shots, portraits and model portfolios, he is renowned for his boudoir photography. What is boudoir photography? Photographing an everyday woman in a soft, classy sophisticated revealing way. Not necessarily nude. How revealing? It’s up to the client, the criteria being the beauty and allure of a woman, regardless of size or age. Mostly all of the images on this site are of everyday people. Before shooting begins Amanda, Phil’s wife, a skilled make-up artist works her magic on the clients face. Make-up is key to a successful photo shoot. Clothing, backdrops, mood and style are all discussed before any make-up is applied. Phil and Amanda are a team. A successful photo shoot is always an artistic team effort. You make a photograph not take a photograph. A diverse wardrobe is available containing everything from lingerie to high fashion. An extensive line from Bian Variani is always at hand as Phil is the personal photographer of this Milan fashion designer. Most shoots are photographed digitally which allows for quick evaluation between client and photographer. Digital files allow Phil to make changes in Photoshop if required. It is also standard for many catalogs, brochures, websites and commercial clients. As an artist, Phil is passionate about photography and enjoys expressing his creativity especially in black and white boudoir photography. Phil has been a photographer for 25 years, studying at numerous art institutions in the U.K. and in Canada. At Elite Pro-Photo Phil has the ability to make the client comfortable and at ease which is vital in capturing the true moment. |
